Zaterdag. Jayh. Serieus. Echt waar. Nog net voordat ie is doorgebroken. Of is ie dat al. Either way. Beter kom je.
Zaterdag. Zwart Licht. Jawel. Akoestisch. Serieus. En niemand ever heeft dat ooit gehoord nog.

Eerlijk

Michel ontdekte dat we nog een aantal paar Nike's in de kast hadden staan voor de workshop Custom Kicks. Hij vond ze wel goed staan. Wij weten wel beter.Ik bedoel. Eerlijk.

Fit

Dit is Fit. Hij geeft bij ons de Play (theater) workshops. Als ik hem spreek wou ik dat ik theatermaker was. Check hier een tof interview met hem op STATE.

Summertime

So our small country endured some severe thunder and rain yesterday. Michael aka Kofi keeps on the summervibe with a raggae-version of his song "Nowhere". Click on the image below for the instrumental. Believe you me, the vocal version is "off the heezay" (over the top? hmyeah :)). We'll keep you posted for that one!

Eindelijk

Echt weer zo'n geval van: "hehe, eindelijk." De foto's van de breakdance battle in samenwerking met Illusionary Rockaz (hence the name: Illusionary Breakdance Battle). Het zijn er nog al wat. Stuk of 500. Als je snel doorklikt is het net een film. Props aan alle winnaars. Die stuff van Patta, daar werden we blij van toch?

Wow. Who knew getting your audio files hosted, uploaded, put into a flashplayer and embed it on your blog would be such a hassle. Well believe, it is. Either way. Here are the first four tracks/instrumentals which will be used in the show in Echigo Tsumari. Big up Gina and Moro!

Yesterday we had our first meeting. Everybody is very excited! We talked about what music to perform and how a collaboration with dancers would be awesome. So, we're off!

Ok. I've worked on a couple of projects recently, but none of those deserved their own blog. The project we are working on now does! Let me explain:

Caprice, Kid Sublime, TooTall and four of our finest performing artists - Gina, Michael, Moro and ... - are going to Japan for a show at the Green Festival during the Echigo Tsumari Triennal. The show will be a collaboration with an exciting local dance crew.

This blog is the main platform for our communication. We will be posting foto's, video's and music clips about and relating to the preperations for the show. This is not for our eyes only. Feel free to join us on our journey to Echigo Tsumari. Konnichiwa!

konnichiwa!

Wie goed doet, goed ontmoet zo blijkt maar weer. Nowhere opent ogen en deuren in het buitenland. In Japan vonden ze dat we maar eens lang moesten komen. Dat gaan we doen. In augustus. En wel met Caprice, Kid Sublime, TooTall, Michael, Gina en Khalid om daar een show te geven met een lokale danscrew. Wordt keihard. Hou dit project hier in de gaten.

What the

Een varken van 3 m bij 2 m op de Nowhere wall of fame. Dat kan maar 1 ding betekenen. De beeldende kunstgroep pARTi heeft een workshop gehad van Roabot, een belgische graffiti-artist. Check hier!

"Swagger"

betekent dit en dit. En Poetry Circle heeft swagger like no one on the corner. Ik bedoel hier vind je foto's van de voorstelling die maar. Ik zei toch: Next level. De voorstelling was hard! En als je 'm gemist hebt: kijk uit voor die movement!
